We are a group of STEM University Students and Graduates. The various qualifications are: Medicine at Queen Mary University of London; Natural Sciences at Cambridge; Economics at LSE; Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering at UCL.
You will be assigned with a tutor depending on your subjects and choice of course at university.

Charmy Doshi | Co-Founder
Charmy brings over 1,500 hours of teaching experience, specialising in Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. Studied Pharmacology and Innovative Therapeutics at Queen Mary University of London and is a Clinical Trail Researcher. She combines academic expertise with a passion for making learning engaging and accessible. Charmy’s vision for Tutordemy is to build a platform where students feel supported, motivated, and empowered to reach their full potential.
Dhanuka Edirisinghe | Co-Founder
Dhanuka is equally dedicated to transforming education, with extensive tutoring experience and a strong background in Bsc Computer Science and as Project Manager in National Grid. He is known for his ability to simplify complex topics and inspire confidence in students of all levels. Dhanuka’s drive is to create an innovative learning space that values personalised teaching and long-term student success.
Together, Charmy and Dhanuka founded Tutordemy with a simple goal: to redefine tutoring by blending academic excellence with empathy, innovation, and accessibility.

We specialize in STEM subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology. We support students at GCSE, A-Level, IB, University level, and with entrance exams such as UCAT, BMAT, and STEP.
Lessons are primarily online, making it convenient for students across the UK and internationally. Our tutors use interactive tools such as whiteboards, google classroom, exam-style practice, and tailored resources to ensure sessions are engaging and effective. Monthly Group in-person lessons are available at high demand locations.
Most 1-1 sessions are 1 hour, but we also offer 90-minute or 2-hour lessons depending on the student’s preference and learning style. Our Weekend Group Lessons are 5 hours long with enough breaks so students don’t get overwhelmed.
We carefully pair students with tutors based on subject, university course interests, and personality fit. You can also request a specific tutor after a trial lesson.
Yes, we offer a discounted first lesson so you can experience our teaching style before committing.
Absolutely. Our tutors are top-performing university students or graduates from leading UK universities. All undergo interviews, teaching assessments, and DBS checks to ensure both quality and safety.
Both. Since we’ve gone through the same exams, applications, and interviews, we provide academic support as well as practical mentoring for university choices, personal statements, and career advice.
Yes! Our tutors share tailored revision notes, question banks, and exam techniques. Some tutors also offer workshops and crash courses during exam season.
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules. We’re flexible and try to accommodate students’ schedules as much as possible.
Yes, you can book lessons individually or purchase a block of sessions at a reduced rate. This is especially popular for exam preparation.
